What is Included in Tuition?

Tuition includes two full days (9am-5pm) of photography instruction as well as hands-on learning opportunities photographing models (with model releases so the images may be used in your portfolio for marketing). You will learn how to set up specific OCF lighting techniques using your own lighting equipment so you can recreate every technique in your own shooting space afterwards. (There is a limited amount of loaner equipment available for students who do not have their own to use during the class. Please note during registration if you need anything.) Light snacks, lunch, and drinks will be provided throughout the two day instruction periods. We will also meet at a restaurant as a group for dinner after class to discuss and network (cost of dinner is NOT included). Additionally, as a bonus, each student will have the opportunity to be photographed by Angela Anderson and will receive one complimentary digital portrait!

NOT INCLUDED: Accommodations, breakfast, dinner, travel expenses, etc. You know, all the normal stuff!

Where Should I Stay?

The studio is located at 114 N Huachuca Blvd, Huachuca City, Arizona, about 10 minutes drive from Sierra Vista. There are several hotel options in Sierra Vista and students may carpool, share Ubers, etc. Additionally, there are several Air BnB options in the area. Benson, AZ is about 30 min drive from the studio; Saint David, AZ is about 45 min drive; and Tucson is 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive depending on location.

What Precautions Are You Taking re: Covid?

All students must be vaccinated. We are capping the maximum number of students to 5 for this class to be able to maintain social distancing. The studio is 2,300 square feet of open space with 12 foot ceilings and doors that allow for plenty of cross ventilation. All touchable surfaces are sanitized regularly, and we will have masks and hand sanitizer available at all times. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out Angela@AngelaAndersonPhoto.com.

If you do not yet have off camera lighting equipment, we have loaner equipment you can learn and practice with during the class. Please let us know when you register what equipment you are in need of. We use Godox/Flashpoint at the studio, and it will be a great opportunity to try it and see if it will work for you!

Can I Rent Time in the Studio After Class to Practice?

Absolutely! If you would like to photograph your own model (or possibly coordinate with a fellow student) you may rent time for shooting at the studio at a rate of $40 per hour using your own equipment. $60 per hour if using our studio lighting. Arrangements must be made in advance, so please reach out if this is something you’d like to do!
